His most recent solo show was at Carl Freedman Gallery, London in October 2008. He has also had solo shows at Art Now, Tate Britain in April 2007, Galerie Giti Nourbakhsch, Berlin in 2007 and Kunsthalle Basel, Switzerland in September 2006. Group shows include "Classified: Contemporary British Art from Tate Collection" Tate Britain 2009, "Modern Modern" Chelsea Museum, New York, 2009. "Back to Black" Kestnergesellschaft, Hanover, 2008 and "How to Improve the World: 60 Years of British Art", Hayward Gallery, London.2007. He is represented by Carl Freedman Gallery, London, Galerie Giti Nourbakhsch, Berlin and Bortolami, New York. In recent paintings Peri develops linear geometric structures formed by the repeated drawing and effacing of coloured lines where the accumulation of mistakes and ghosting appear to form the substance of the painting, with the rendered geometric forms functioning somewhat in a supplementary role. Likewise, the anthropomorphic aspects of Peri‘s recent drawings suggest a corporeality which retreats from us the more we concentrate on the constituting, minute, individual lines.
